update

Sooooooo, it's been an interesting week. Meals have been delicious and so have seminars. We watched Still/Here by Bill T. Jones yesterday. Then both last night and this morning we exercised some of the movements and principles he talked about on the lawn. It was very....different to say the least.  I'm learning how to write poems in Rhyme Royal with the use of iambic pentameters. It's very challenging but end results sound pretty great. I got my first package yesterday. It was my dad's camera that I'm borrowing for the trip. If anyone else would like to send me something you can definitely do so. I would appreciate that :) Right now I'm actually in Olin Library getting ready to analyze this essay on race, sexuality, and mourning in the early era of AIDS. It was written by one of my professors as the introduction to his book. We come to this library every day to study and what not. It's a terrible walk really. Olin sits on the top of a very steep gravel/grass hill and our house is at the bottom -__- So walking up is like boot camp whether it's hot and sunny or rainy (like today) or cloudy and humid (the worst), it's really not fun. Then going back down is no walk in the park either. Especially not with my 10 foot tall self. Staying upright without running or face-planting is extremely difficult but it's sooo steep you cant help but run or walk reaaaallly slowly. As a matter of fact, yesterday when walking down to the house some competitive cyclist who obviously wants to put me in the grave decided to SPEED down the hill past alllll my friends and what not but not say ANYTHING or make a NOISE or annnnnyything. If the people behind me hadn't of all yelled "CAM OMG CAM LOOKOUT" then I would've been flattened. Obliterated. Wiped Out. I was so mad/scared that he really didn't care about life. My friend who heard the screams before I did was like "I turned around, saw the bike behind you and just accepted you were dead. Lol, I'm serious. I just froze and I was 'Cam dead, she's getting hit'". That was so funny I quickly relinquished all my feelings of anger. But I'm doing great, I feel like I've been here for eons with eons to come. I'm glad I'm here. I miss church tho. Like really bad. I think I'm going through  "VVVV FREESSSH deficiency disorder."
