Ars Poetica

So Ars Poetica is a style of poetry that literally captivates what the writer thinks a poem should be like. It's like a poem of a poem, an example if you will. Here's one of my tries at that.

Roses are red

Violets are blue

I’m gonna make this rhyme

because you told me to

Roses are red

Violets are blue

Ars poetica embodies truth

But please

Let me learn you thing

You won’t learn much from me and words

After all, words are spells for lies

The truth will come from the one with wings

For the truth, listen to the caged bird sing
