Camryn's Sporadic Teenage Euphoria: The Last Few Days (Both past and future)

Sooooooo it's my last few days here and I'm pretty sad about it. I leave late Wednesday. I haven't blogged much but we have still been doing things. We went to dynamic ceramics and made mugs. We won't get them back until tomorrow and I can't wait to see it. The ceramic place is in the mall so we took the bus there. That same day we went to watch the fireflies and stars and look at the slave plantations. We left around 11 pm and walked there. We were expecting a 20-30 minute walk but it ended up being an hour and a half. We went across campus, through the creepiest, darkest woods ever and into oblivion. We didn't see any fireflies. We didn't see any plantation. There were no stars. I was so terrified I cried. We were trekking through the unlit woods and on some highway then near some abandoned green house and under a tunnel.....I can't even begin to describe the fear. We did not return until 1:15 am.

Yesterday we had Family Game Night and went canoeing. We went canoeing at 8 am and it was pretty fun. I leaped waaayyyy out of my comfort zone by docking with some friends and jumping in the lake. The water was cold and I kinda panicked but it was all good lol. I had to recall some old Camp Tall Turf skills to keep my buddy Sky and I in the right direction. The walk back to the house was terrible considering Ithaca is one large hill and Cornell is at the top and the canoeing place was at the bottom. The hills were so steep you couldn't stand on them and not fall. You had to remain in motion. I felt like I was dying. I'm pretty sure my legs are 10x more toned than when I left. Family Game Night went considerably better. We played charades, Human Table, Ping-Pong on a Spoon relay, Hang Man and Musical Chairs. My team won the Human Table round because we held it for 3 minutes no problem! Other teams struggled to make 11 seconds! I went pretty far in Musical Chairs but it got so competitive that I ended up on the floor with hurt rib. Lol, and I still lost. My team name was What Are Thooseeeee and we came in second. Team Money $wag won first and got donuts. Today I had seminar and I packed my stuff and went Cornell merch shopping with Jad and Kim. It was a decent day.
